Match Report

With early season results of 6-0, 6-0, 4-2 giving the Romans results sheet a rather "Federer-esque" look, things were looking bright for this encounter against the team that had just beaten the Romans 2nd string
4-2 the previous week.
 
Unfortunately a Henman-like display (can't use the word performance) followed and the Romans suffered an embarrasing 5-1 defeat.

Later in the day a clearly shocked Steve McClaren said it was "a reality check for everyone" and "we fell well below our normal standard".

Individual and team counselling sessions will be held next Tuesday evening.

PS - Let this take nothing away from a very good performance from Welwyn, St Marys who were by far the better team on the day.
